About Sculptra®

Sculptra® is an FDA-approved dermal filler that uses a unique injectable compound, poly-L-lactic acid, to smooth away the appearance of nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and other deep folds that form around the nose and mouth.

Sculptra® works by adding almost-immediate volume to the facial region, all while improving collagen production for long-term benefits. This approach means that Sculptra® results typically last anywhere from 18 months to over two years.

The typical Sculptra® treatment takes about 20 minutes to perform, making it an excellent lunchtime treatment. You will need a series of 3 treatments 4 weeks apart for optimal results.

There’s no downtime associated with your Sculptra® treatment, so you should be able to resume normal activities. You may see slight bruising and swelling at the injection site, which usually fades about 48 hours after the procedure.

You’ll begin to see results from your injection about one to two weeks after treatment, with these results lasting for about two years.

You’re a good candidate for Sculptra® if you’ve noticed deep nasolabial folds or marionette lines forming around your nose and mouth. The best candidates are those individuals who are bothered by these signs of aging but may not yet be candidates for a facelift procedure.
