What Results Will I See With a Brow Lift?
A brow lift can dramatically reduce signs of aging and give you a brighter, younger appearance. You can expect a smoother forehead, lifted and corrected eyebrows, and even an improved field of vision. The results are immediately visible after your procedure, but you’ll see the best results after the swelling dissipates in a few weeks.
Brow Lift Procedure and Recovery
Dr. Schalit will perform the brow lift under general anesthesia. He will use one of three methods depending on your needs.
In a hairline brow lift procedure, Dr. Schalit will make an incision along your hairline and remove a small amount of scalp. He may also use an extended version of a hairline brow lift, called a coronal brow lift, and make an incision from ear to ear.
Finally, in an endoscopic brow lift, he will make several incisions behind the hairline. This is the most common procedure and has a faster recovery time.
After the surgery, you will receive specific instructions about bandages, cold compresses, and medications. Sutures are removed a week after the procedure, and most people return to work in 10-14 days. You can expect some swelling, tenderness, and bruising for a couple of weeks after a brow lift.
